Medieval Jewelry Material

A substance inspired by medieval and byzantine styles of jewelry. I liked the idea of challenging myself to create something using twisted and curling wire in Substance Designer. I had this partially completed for a long time and finally went in and finished the gemstones and rendered the material.

In some reference images, some older gold takes on a darker tone and accumulates a reddish grime. This was the coloring I wanted to achieve.

The main material creates the decoration shapes, feeds those shapes into gold and gemstone subgraphs, and then blends them together.
